Recently, the Backbase website team has upgraded the Backbase site to use bookmarkable URI's for the different sections. It is now possible to link directly to almost any part of the site. If you browse through the site you will see the address in the address bar of your browser change, even though it is a Single Page Interface that never leaves the original address: www.backbase.com.
One of my colleagues at Backbase, Laurens Holst has written a nice article about the technique used in the website to achieve this feat: the BXML
<s:history/> tag. If you are interested in using this feature in your Backbase applications you should definitely check this out.
One immediate benefit of this upgrade is that it allows me to link directly to the article: Bookmarks and the back button in AJAX applications.
